P5H blog 15/12/17

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to P5H’s Weekly Reflections.
We all enjoyed performing our last dances with Mr Carswell and primary 5P. It was great fun learning new steps and dances. Our favourite ones were the Flying Scotsman and the Dashing White Sergeant. We liked these because it was a fast dance and we loved doing the train sound, whooo, whooo in the middle. The Dashing White Sergeant was quite fast and the figure of eight was very tricky. We all had to work hard to keep in time to the music.
We all had a great time creating our own Scottish themed dance. The Mexican wave was a great addition and we all had to share our ideas and listen to others to create the dance. We worked individually, in pairs and in fours. It looked great and the video was fun to watch.
We all hope you enjoyed the primary one nativity and listening to our singing. We practised hard to get to know the words and learn the tunes. We thought it was lovely.
We have also been working on The Wars of Independence. There was a lot of fighting and battles, we think the people living in those times must have been very brave and strong. Some of the weapons they had had to carry were very heavy.
We have, also, all been creating super heroes for a competition; they are characters who help the sea and its creatures. Good luck to everyone.
We hope you all have a great Christmas holiday and a happy new year.
