P5 blog 4/11/16

Hello and welcome to our class blog!
We have been doing…
We have been doing Spanish cartoons using the new greeting words we learned. We enjoyed it. Callum thought it was very fun!!
Our topic is the British Isles. Callum thought it was great doing a power point on the British Isles and learning about UK Landmarks.
We did charades and Ronin thought he could do better at the guessing.
In music with Mrs Dixon we followed the beat with instruments to a song about building sites. We used maracas to make the sound of the drill and played a game called tea break.

Next week we will be continuing with addition in Maths. We will be looking at book reviews and writing our own book review of Spellchasers- our class novel. Mr Carswell will be joining us on Tuesday afternoons up until Christmas and we will be learning Scottish Country dances with the P6’s. The class will be finishing our British Isles topic and beginning The Wars of Independence. This week in PE we have been choreographing synchronized dance routines in groups which has been challenging but fun. We focused on teamwork skills as it needed lots of cooperation and awareness of each person in the group.

Have a lovely weekend when it comes!
