Our first meeting.

On 15th November, we had our first official ECO committee meeting this year. Alan Brown, Caitlin’s dad, and representative of Linlithgow Climate Challenge attended our meeting along with another parent Jeanie Vears, Jamie’s mum.

We talked about different things. Katie talked about the big blue bin. She wanted to get a more because Katie and Alistair empty the blue bins from each class and thought the big bin was getting quite full. We also talked about scrap paper trays and thought that people aren’t re-using enough. Quite a lot of people in our ECO committee realised that lots of people are putting plastic in our compost bin. We know that some people don’t know ‘what’ to put in the bins, so we are going to make posters to help. We are also going to put compost bins in porches for playtimes and lunchtimes.

Thanks - Francesca & Alexandra.
